Olympus Offers Firmware Update for EVOLT E-500

March 30, 2006 - Olympus has also released a firmware update today, also called version 1.2, for their EVOLT E-500. The update adds a function to the menu that allows users to exchange the AEL/AFL button for a one-touch white balance one; it also "improve[s] the precision of exposure by built-in flash" and improves the exposure level of the built-in flash in combination with selected Sigma Four-Thirds lenses.
