Olympus Updates E-510 and E-410 Firmware

Olympus Europe today released firmware updates to the EVOLT E-510 and E-410 consumer DSLRs. Users who upgrade to version 1.1 will gain faster write speed on their CompactFlash memory cards with either camera, according to the company website.

July 25, 2007* – Olympus Europe today released firmware updates for its EVOLT E-510 and E-410 consumer DSLRs. The updates for both cameras improve writing reliability to high-speed CompactFlash cards, according to the company website. An additional update for the E-410 improves white balance previews in Live-View mode and corrects a bug that reset file names after deleting photos.
