October 12, 2006 – Panasonic Corp. released yesterday the update to the manufacturer’s first DSLR, the Lumix DMC-L1 firmware update version 1.1.
The Lumix DMC-L1 update allows users to shoot while the camera processes RAW files, according to the Panasonic website. Version 1.1 improves focusing in low contrast situations and improves white balance and colors in high and low color temperature shooting. The L1 update also improves the auto exposure function when used with lenses faster than f/2.0 and adds Aperture Priority mode when using OM lenses and adapters, states the Panasonic website.
