February 23, 2007 –Personal electronics manufacturer Pandigital introduced this week the 6-inch Digital Photo Frame with video and music capacities. Adding to their digital photo frame line, the new 6-inch model is geared for budget consumers. The Pandigital 6-inch Digital Photo Frame will retail for $114.99 when it becomes available later this month.
"The new Pandigital 6-inch frame fills the important entry-level position in Pandigital’s popular line of digital photo frames with features typically not found at this price point," stated a Feb. 22 company press release.
The Pandigital frame, model item number PAN-600-B, is capable of displaying photos in 5x7 aspect ratio and plays MPEG 1, MPEG 4, and AVI video. Users can also listen to MP3 files through the built-in speakers or on headphones with an included jack port.
Users can import files from USB connection and through six types of media, including SD, xD, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro/Memory Stick Duo, CF, and MMC. The Pandigital frame also comes with 128 MB of built-in memory.
The Pandigital frame comes with interchangeable frames in black wood and cherry wood. The 6-inch Digital Photo Frame will be available at 6,000 retailers, including select department stores, according to the release.
