*May 2, 2005 - *South Korean cell phone maker Pantech has announced the release of the PT-S100, a 1.3 megapixel swivel lens camera phone with an FM tuner, MP3 player, phone, 128 MB of memory, as well as an additional slot for a miniSD card. The Pantech-Curitel PT-S100 has its swiveling lens at the bottom of the 3.97 x 2.29 x 0.74 inch phone. This is the same location of the phone's mouth piece, as well its MP3 player, send and receive buttons, and other functions. One of the more unusual design features of the camera is the 1.9-inch rear screen, which is laid out vertically with the phone's keypads (button clusters) lining both sides.

Pantech is planning to release the PT-S100 in the coming months in South Korea and the Middle East. Pantech, South Korea's third largest cell phone manufacturer, plans on expanding into four overseas markets this year in addition to the Middle East, including the United States, China, Europe, and Russia.
