June 26, 2007* – Online portfolio developer Parade Portfolio Management Tools this month released a new feature called Client Area. The newly added Client Area feature allows photographers to add password protection to online galleries. Geared for photographers and creative professionals, Parade allows users to customize Flash templates to showcase their work online.

Parade Portfolio Management Tools, launched in April, offers customizable templates for displaying online galleries. The galleries can be customized using the drop-and-drag method. Additionally, users can select background colors and transition effects and add music and a blog.

The new Client Area allows the website owner to add password protection to clients' galleries. The galleries can be viewed in a slideshow or thumbnail previews.

"We want to make sure our customers select a photography website design that not only communicates their unique sense of style but also matches their pocketbooks', said Co-Parade Portfolio Management Tools founder and principal Micah Slavens in a company press release today.

Parade's introductory set-up fee is $450 for the Premium version or $750 for the Pro version. There is then a $35 monthly fee.

A personalized website can be ready for launch within 24-48 hours after sign-up, according to the company website. Visit Parade Portfolio Management Tools for more information.
