November 2, 2006* - Capture One released an update to their RAW workflow manager Capture One version 3.7.6 on Tuesday. The update includes a new Live Preview feature for Phase One digital backs and adds improved camera support.

Capture One v3.7.6 includes the newest feature Live Preview to be used with Phase One’s P 45, P 30, and P 21 digital camera backs. "Live Preview gives you instant feedback on your composition and any changes you make to this, when capturing images," stated the release.

The new version also improves on color and film curves with the Leica M8, Canon Digital Rebel XTi, Nikon D80, and the Sony Alpha A100 cameras.

In September, Phase One announced Capture One 4 at Photokina. Capture One 4 promises enhanced RAW processing algorithms,  300 percent faster performance, a new interface, and new tools, according to a press release dated Sept. 26. Capture One 4 will be available in beginning of 2007.

Until then, users can download Capture One v3.7.6 at http://www.phaseone.com/Content/Downloads.aspx.
