Photo Review ](http://www.photoreview.com.au/Sony/reviews/digitalslr/sony-dslra350.aspx)has done a nice little review of the Sony's A350 DSLR who they feel is a great upgrade for point and shooters and the more serious photographer. The camera is a  step up from the A200 model in both features and performance however one can avoid the kits lens.

The Sony A350  supports live view shooting and has a solid grip making it extremely comfortable to shoot with. The camera  supports two aspect ratios for image recording; the standard 3:2 and an additional 16:9 format. On running the Imatest, the website came to the conclusion that the camera can handle very high resolution with only minimal variation in line widths/pixel height figures throughout the ISO range

The reviewer concludes:
"Sony's A350 DSLR has something to offer to both digicam upgraders who are looking to buy a more sophisticated camera and photo enthusiasts who want a high-resolution camera with all the latest shooting controls."
