*December 12, 2006 *– Online photo and video sharing site Photobucket.com announced today the site will now offer direct image uploads from users’ mobile devices.

"As people capture their lives on digital handheld devices, they want to share those moments immediately," said Photobucket CEO Alex Welch."We are committed to making this real-time sharing simple and easy," he said.

Once images are posted to the site, one of Photobucket’s more unique features enables users to link their albums to a variety of blogs, including MySpace, Xanga, and Blogger.

Free accounts allow for a maximum file size of 1028x768 pixels per file, although a subscription-based account is also available.
