*July 24, 2006 – *Studio lighting manufacturer Photoflex Products, Inc. recently announced three new monobloc strobe heads, the StarFlash 1000, 650, and 300.

Although the official public release date of the strobes was not until August 15, news broke early and Photoflex updated their website with some information of the new lights, according to Jim Deagen, Production Coordinator in Marketing.

The StarFlash strobes have a power adjustment range from full to 1/8 with a flash output in five f-stop increments. The StarFlash 1000ws strobe has a recycle charge time of 2-3 seconds, and the 650ws and the 300ws charge in 1-2 seconds. All three strobes are equipped with cooling fans and compatible with infrared cell triggers, sync cords, and manual triggers, according to Deagen.

The suggested retail price of the StarFlash 1000 is $799.95, $599.95 for the 650 strobe, and $424.95 for the 300 strobe. The strobe lights will be available for shipping in September.
