PhotoVu Announces New Widescreen Digital Frame

July 27, 2007* – PhotoVu has announced the availability of its newest digital picture frame. The wireless PV1965w has a 19-inch widescreen frame that projects photos in a 16:10 format and supports most USB drives.

'Our customers have been asking us for a wide-format viewing wireless digital picture frame and we're proud to offer thePV1965w to satisfy the needs of our most discriminating digital photography enthusiasts,' said Robert Jordan, PhotoVu co-founder and partner, in a press release.

The PV1965w boasts improvements over its predecessor, the PV1965, in aspect ratio and resolution. The new frame has a resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels with 16million/24bit color and can display photos up to 4992 x 3328 pixels. The frame is also WiFi enabled, and is compatible with multiple photo sharing sites.

The PV1965w is now available for $1199, while the PV1965 retails for $999. Frames can be ordered from the PhotoVu website.
