The "Digital Interchangeable Lens Camera' impresses with its image quality, its fast contrast AF, its electronic viewfinder and its compact form factor. However the Panasonic DMC-G1 had its faults as it suffered from an average battery life, lacked a built-in image stabilizer and was found suitable for fast subject tracking.
