Samsung is making waves with its newly announced 64 Gigabit (Gb) multi level cell (MLC) NAND flash memory chip.  Using the 30-nanometer(nm)-class process technology , the chip can be combined to make a 128 GB memory card , which can hold around 80 DVD resolution movies, 64,000 quality JPEG images and 32,000 MP3 files. Samsung expects to begin production of 30nm-class 64Gb flash devices in 2009.
