Transcend Introduces 4GB SDHC with 150x Speed

May 16, 2007 – Flash memory manufacturer Transcend Information Inc. yesterday launched its 4GB SDHC 150x (Class 6) card. The Secure Digital High Capacity card is currently available online for the retail price of $48.99.

"Transcend’s 4GB SDHC Class 6 150x card features high data transfer speed and can fulfill the high-capacity demand of the new SDHC devices such as Nikon Coolpix S200/S500/P5000 cameras, Panasonic DMC-L1/FX07 camera, and Panasonic SDR-S200 Digital Video Camera," stated a company press release.

The Transcend card uses a NAND Flash chip and features a 15MB per second transfer speed. The card also has a mechanical write protection switch that prevents accidental deletion of files. The card comes with a lifetime warranty and is available at the Transcend online store.
