A new Dyson for under $200 is a rare and amazing thing.

I recently acquired a Dyson vacuum thanks to a local free-stuff group on Facebook. It's 10 years old, pink (for breast cancer awareness, I believe), and massive. The floor suction no longer works and I can only use it for the hose attachment, which is thankfully fine for my fairly small apartment—for now. But what does work works really well, and I love that I can tell people I own a Dyson.
Before I lucked into this free vacuum, I was sweeping the cat hair and dust bunnies, which means my floors were super dusty and covered in what I lovingly call "tumble-fluffs." But the model I have is huge and heavy, so I still don't use it quite as much as I should. I'm heavily considering investing in the Dyson V7 Animal, because it's super lightweight and cordless (and converts to a handheld vacuum). But mostly I'm thinking about it because it's on sale for a stupidly low price today.
Dyson is running an Amazon Deal of the Day (via Woot) on a refurbished V7 Animal for the best price it's ever been. The typically $300 vacuum is only $190 today. That's basically 1/3 off and you're saving $110 compared to buying it at full price. Dyson is one of the few companies whose refurbished products are just as reliable as their new ones. They take care making sure refurbished models are in top condition, and because these vacuums are being sold from Dyson, you get their one-year limited warranty in case anything goes wrong.
