Best Throw Blanket
Cozy Earth Bubble Cuddle Blanket

Cozy Earth's Bubble Cuddle Blanket puts the dream into your afternoon nap. Soft, plush faux fur creates a texture we can't help but run our hands across. It's also moderately weighted—not the heavy feel of a true weighted blanket, but not light enough for a summer afternoon, either.

In addition to being the coziest blanket we've seriously ever wrapped up in, the Bubble Cuddle looks gorgeous. It has a subtle texture that resembles the look of an egg carton, it's simple without adornment, and it comes in three neutral shades—cream, walnut, and light gray. Toss that over your couch, and you'll be the envy of your friend group.

We ordered the standard size, which is 60 x 50 inches—a great size for one person. Although we wish it were a little longer, our toes keep peeking out from the end when we recline. However, this luxurious throw also comes in an oversized version, measuring 80 x 60 inches, which is perfect for cuddling with a partner or your child.

Cozy Earth doesn't overlook details, delivering its Bubble Cuddle blanket in a beautiful striped carry-all.

Pros

  • Ultra soft

  • Nice weight

  • Absolutely gorgeous, no matter your aesthetic

Cons

  • Toes stick out the bottom

The outside of the blanket is silky-soft, thanks to the longer shag of the faux rabbit fur, whereas the inside features a short-nap fleece with a velvety texture.

Cozy Bliss Bubble Faux Fur Throw Blanket

If you love the look and feel of the Cozy Earth Bubble Cuddle Blanket but don’t love the price tag, the Cozy Bliss Bubble Faux Fur Throw Blanket offers the same snuggly comfort for under $60. Available in four generous sizes (from 50 x 60 inches to 108 x 90 inches) and 14 chic colors, this OEKO-TEX certified throw combines a 630 GSM faux rabbit fur top with a silky Triple-Anti Fleece underside.

My family immediately claimed it—kids, cat, and all—thanks to its velvety texture and luxurious weight, which feels much more expensive than it is. Beyond being delightfully soft, the blanket is anti-static (no winter shocks here) and machine washable, making it as practical as it is plush.

Pros

  • OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified

  • Cozy and warm

  • Multiple sizes that fit beds

  • Machine washable

  • Great value

Cons

  • Not all-natural

Bedsure Fleece Blanket

This is the perfect throw blanket for cuddling with your pets on the couch or getting cozy in your bed for a movie. It’s made of polyester, which gives it a lightweight feel and greater durability. It’s also put together with neat stitches, which provide the seam with better strength, allowing it to last longer. Of course, the most important thing is how comfortable this throw blanket is. Made of microfleece yarns, this blanket has a velvety feel and material that can sometimes make it slip away, according to reviewers.

Pros

  • Multiple color and size options

  • Lightweight

  • Velvety-soft feel

Cons

  • A little slippery

You can use it outside in the summer by the campfire or inside in the winter for a movie night, and the material is free from any toxic chemicals that could harm the environment. Edition Reykjavik Spa Throw

Edition’s Reykjavik Spa Throw adds warmth and texture to any room. It’s got a subtle plaid pattern, made up of off-white, ashy gray, black fibers, and so on. It’s made of 100% pure Icelandic wool, so it comes with a luxury price tag as well, but you can really see the quality. The blanket’s dimensions are 51 by 78 inches, and it’s exclusive to the Edition Hotels online shop. Its only obvious drawback is that it’s not machine washable; you’ll have to clean any spills or odors by hand.

KyraHome 100% Organic Muslin Cotton Throw Blanket

If you’re looking for a throw blanket that’s soft and lightweight, you may want to take a look at this one. Many reviewers say it’s great for lounging at home, but also that it’s quite thin and not ideal for getting warm and cozy. This blanket is useful for adding decoration to your bed or couch or reading on the porch in the summer, since it isn’t the warmest option. What’s great, though, is that it’s made of organic cotton, which absorbs moisture well.

Pros

  • Super soft

  • Lightweight

  • Affordable

Cons

  • Not very warm

Tuddrom Faux Fur Throw Blanket

For a decorative throw blanket that remains fluffy and soft, this faux-fur blanket may be a good choice for you. It’s polyester, which makes it both lightweight and silky, and is styled with four centimeters of long hair, mink fleece, and a durable seam. Some customers are unhappy with the thinness of the blanket because it doesn’t provide sufficient warmth, but if you want a decorative throw blanket that looks good, then this is a solid and affordable option.

Pros

  • Soft and fluffy

  • Lightweight

  • Reversible design

Cons

  • Sheds

  • Too thin

Adyrescia Knit Throw Blanket

This beautiful throw blanket would make a perfect gift for a Yankee swap or baby shower, especially since it comes in multiple colors and sizes. It’s knitted by hand with super soft, thick chenille yarn that makes it extra cozy. The yarn is even designed to prevent shedding over time. Even though the large knits in this blanket make it feel extra cozy, some customers do complain about them being too big, which can be an issue if items start to get stuck in between the knitting.

Pros

  • Multiple color and size options

  • Hand knitted

Cons

  • Some say the holes are too large
