The Cozy Bliss Bubble Faux Fur Throw Blanket is a less expensive dupe of our favorite throw blanket, the Cozy Earth Bubble Cuddle Blanket. Much like the Cozy Earth version, the Cozy Bliss is generously sized, incredibly soft, and densely weighted—making it perfect for cuddling up on the couch for movie nights, book binges, or really any activity. It comes in 14 different colors to match all types of décor, as well as a variety of sizes.

How we tested

My kids were so obsessed with how soft and cuddly it is that they actually fought over who got to use it every night.

I let my kids open the box when the Cozy Bliss arrived, and that was definitely a mistake, because they loved it so much they wouldn’t even let me try it. In fact, my kids were so obsessed with how soft and cuddly it is that they actually fought over who got to use it every night, and they’ve since taken to locking it inside their rooms to keep the other one from absconding with it.

My kids aren’t the only ones who like it, either. Even our kitten has taken to sleeping on the Cozy Bliss all day and all night.

I finally got a chance to test out the throw myself when the kids left for school, and I have to admit that I totally get their addiction. I wrapped myself in it while working at my desk (toasty), and stole some quiet reading time on the couch with my book when my husband took the kids to tennis class (luxurious).

Since receiving the Cozy Bliss throw, we haven’t spent a single TV-watching night on the couch without it.

What we like

It is incredibly soft

The outside of the blanket is silky-soft, thanks to the longer shag of the faux rabbit fur, whereas the inside features a short-nap fleece with a velvety texture.

If you’re sick of scratchy afghan throws or designer blankets that look good but don’t feel good, the Cozy Bliss is the antidote. The outside of the blanket is silky-soft, thanks to the longer shag of the faux rabbit fur, whereas the inside features a short-nap fleece with a velvety texture.

Even my son, who is super picky about soft fabrics, found the Cozy Bliss to be up to his very high standards.

It’s nice and big

There’s nothing worse than spending a family movie night fighting with your kids over a too-small throw blanket. The Cozy Bliss is a generous 50 inches by 60 inches, so there’s plenty of room for two people to cuddle underneath it without having to fight over it. Our size is the smallest available; however, you can also order it in several sizes, ranging up to 108 inches by 90 inches.

It looks chic and expensive

The Cozy Bliss throw blanket comes in a wide variety of colors, so you can select the one that best complements your design aesthetic.

This is not an ugly throw that you’ll want to stash in a closet when your stylish friends come over. In fact, it looks great casually tossed over the arm of a couch, and definitely doesn’t scream, “I paid less than $100 for this.”

Plus, because it comes in a wide variety of colors, you can select the one that best complements your design aesthetic. You could even select more than one.

It’s made from anti-static fabric

When you live in a desert climate like I do, you’re constantly battling static electricity, and I’ve found that throw blankets are some of the worst offenders. I love that the Cozy Bliss is made from anti-static fabric, so I don’t have to worry about being shocked by the doorknob when I get up off the couch.

It washes well

One of my secret parent shames is that I let my kids eat snacks while they watch TV. This means that our throw blankets often get spilled on and need to be washed on a weekly basis. The Cozy Bliss washes well and doesn’t require any special treatment—although it is large and heavy, so you’ll need a large washing machine.

What we don’t like

The fabric is synthetic

While the Cozy Bliss touts its “faux rabbit fur,” the reality is that it’s made from synthetic material, which is something I usually try to avoid purchasing. I wish that it were crafted from organic cotton or bamboo instead, but I realize that it’s difficult to achieve the soft texture when using all-natural materials.

Should you buy the Cozy Bliss Bubble Faux Fur Throw Blanket?

Uh, yes, yes, yes

The Cozy Bliss Bubble Faux Fur Throw Blanket (available at Amazon) is the ideal blend of style and warmth. Additionally, the soft texture and large size make it an ideal choice for families or couples who enjoy curling up together on the couch.
