With Memorial Day officially in the rearview, that means summer is here. And along with warmer days comes day trips to the beach, warm weather vacations, or just lounging by the pool. All of those activities call for a swimsuit. But let’s be real. Shopping for a swimsuit, especially online, has to be one of the most difficult tasks.

Is the fit true to size? Will the cup fit but the waist might be off? Is the back of the suit full coverage or a bit too cheeky? So many questions!

We previously shared the best places to shop for swimsuits and now we’ve rounded up the actual best suits for the season. These are based on trendy prints and cutouts, bold colors and classic hues, and a range of coverage from skimpy to more modest for every body type and style. Some of these suits are so gorgeous, they can easily double as tops with your favorite shorts or sarong.

1. For the pinup babe

A retro vibe with a modern twist never goes out of style.

Blogger Gabi Fresh has been a staple in the plus-size community for years, so her latest collaboration with Swimsuits for All is a more than welcome style treat. The two-piece has trendy cutouts and a pinup vibe, but what we really love is the ability to shop for a suit ideal for your body. Though this bikini is sold as a set, you can select a bra and bottom in varying sizes, which go up to a 26G/H and 10-26, respectively, to get the perfect fit.

Summer is automatically more fun with a suit like this.

You’ve probably seen fringe on accessories, especially earrings, boots, and of course jackets, but the extra long fringe on this swimsuit from Venus adds a bit of flair to a place you don’t often see it. The three tiers of fringe are too cute for words, but in addition to the fashion, this suit is also functional with a removable halter strap and slimming stomach panel. Dare you not to twirl in a suit this fun.

3. For the adult who can’t get enough of florals

ASOS Peek & Beau Tropical Bikini

Buy the bottom for under $15 or get the entire set for less than $40.

Florals aren’t groundbreaking, but the cutesy print can often seem a bit young and even childlike. However, the floral prints you’ll find this season are all grown up and feature detailed edges. Take this Peek & Beau bottom from ASOS: it’s colorful but can easily mix and match with the tops you already have in your stash. Or you can always buy the corresponding bikini top for $21 if you want to let your floral flag fly this summer.
