CES is never subtle, and this year the LG booth was pure mayhem—loud, busy, and just what you’d expect from a global electronics giant. Yet tucked away amid all the spectacle, LG’s upmarket Signature brand was making a different point about the future of technology in the home.
I visited the LG Signature area expecting a typical premium-appliance display that I’ve seen a hundred times before: sleek surfaces, dramatic lighting, lots of screens, and talk of “smarter” everything. I didn’t expect the appliances to embody LG’s AI message of “Affectionate Intelligence” while keeping futurist elements visually to a minimum. Amid the chaos, this was a notable contrast.
LG marks Signature’s 10th anniversary with a 2026 lineup that refines quiet luxury and performance. The appliances forgo futuristic theatrics or bold shapes, instead focusing on intelligence that quietly supports routines.
We loved the LG Signature Refrigerator enough to give it a Reviewed CES Award. What stood out wasn’t just the hardware, but how its conversational AI enables seamless, interactive communication. Built on LLM technology, it supports natural speech rather than rigid commands, making it more intuitive. As someone who doesn’t want a manual for my kitchen, I appreciate that.
Across the kitchen lineup, the AI distinguishes itself by proactively supporting users—recognizing specific dishes in the new oven, automatically adjusting cooking parameters, and sending timely, relevant notifications. Rather than just automating tasks, the AI anticipates needs, making assistance feel optional yet dependable. This showcases LG’s vision of Affectionate Intelligence that adapts to real-life routines.
LG Signature’s Complete 2026 lineup
All the Signature appliances on display are new and will be released in Asia this year. We do expect to see similar models released for the U.S. market later in 2026.
LG Signature Refrigerator
The star of the booth and 2026 CES Innovation Award Honoree features LLM-based AI via touchscreen or talk. The French-door model also features a 6.8-inch LCD display, a convertible drawer, an adjustable interior LED backlight, and spherical craft ice. Doors are ultra-thin and need nearly no clearance when opening.
LG Signature Smart InstaView Refrigerator
With an internal camera and a T-OLED InstaView panel on the top door, this fridge uses ThinQ Food technology to streamline inventory and expiration dates, suggest recipes, and more.
LG Signature Oven Range
This gas range also features an internal camera plus the Gourmet AI technology to identify dishes and automatically select the ideal cooking settings. Also boasts real-time cooking monitoring and a time-lapse recap afterward. Settings include air fry, sous vide, and air roast.
LG Signature OTR Microwave
A 27-inch full HD LCD touchscreen on the front panel features Smart InstaView technology and also serves as a TV. Inside, it boasts three built-in cameras to allow for real-time monitoring. You can also use voice control.
LG Signature 29-inch WashCombo
This ventless washer-dryer combo features an impressive 5.8 cubic-foot capacity, load sensing, a less-than-90-minute complete cycle time, and a heat pump for greater drying efficiency. There’s also a compartment beneath it for washing a mini load. It’s also 2026 CES Innovation Award Honoree.
Design and aesthetics remained central throughout, but not flashy or overdone. Consumers can choose from three collections—Seamless, Iconic, and Tailored—offering options to fit personal style without losing functionality.
LG Signature showed that the future of AI at home can be thoughtful and discreet, seamlessly fitting into daily life and quietly transforming how we live.
