  • Brightness: 850 lumens (60W equivalent)
  • Color range: 16 million colors, plus white light from 1000K to 6500K
  • LEDs and zones: 160 LEDs across 50 controllable zones

  • Price: $59.99 MSRP for a two-pack

The T19 comes with more than 120 preset scenes, including dynamic flames, sunset, and lava effects. You can also build your own effects zone by zone or let the AiDot app's AI tool generate a scene for you.

Schedules and automations handle on/off times, color changes, and brightness. An automatic upright sensor detects the bulb's orientation in the fixture, so the flame effect points the right way.

How we tested

I replaced the existing bulb in a backyard light fixture with the T19 and used it as the main outdoor light for about two weeks. The fixture had room for only one bulb, so I tested a single bulb from the two-pack. I put it through everyday use: grilling, relaxing on the patio, and throwing a ball for the dog after dark.

I set the bulb up in the AiDot app, ran through the preset scenes, adjusted the flame settings, switched between colored and white light, and built a few custom effects to see how much control the bulb offers.

What we like

Setup is seamless

Getting the T19 running took no effort. I screwed it into the fixture and added it in the AiDot app, with none of the dropped pairings or repeated resets that can make smart bulb setup a chore. I had no connection issues over two weeks of testing.

The flame effect has real movement

Linkind spreads the flame effect across 50 zones, so the light rolls and shifts instead of blinking on and off. You can tone it down to a soft candlelight glow or push it toward a bonfire. During nights at the grill, the T19 gave the backyard a warm, campfire feel that a standard porch bulb can't match.

There are a lot of settings to play with

Presets, flame settings, and DIY zone controls are all managed from the AiDot app.

Between the presets, the full color range, and the DIY zone controls, the Linkind T19 is fun to experiment with. You can change the flame's color, slow it down, speed it up, or skip the fire and run a different ambient scene.

The app made an impression beyond our household, too. After seeing the bulb in action, friends with several outdoor fixtures liked the interface and the light enough to order their own Smart Flame Bulbs.

It doubles as a regular light

When you need to see what you're doing, the T19 switches from a warm 1000K to a cool 6500K, up to 850 lumens. You can also dim it from 1% to 100% in the app or by voice, so it works as an everyday porch light and as mood lighting.

What we don't like

The bulb itself isn't much to look at

Though not much of a complaint, the Linkind T19 has a plain, utilitarian design that lacks the visual appeal of decorative or Edison-style bulbs, which can matter if the bulb sits in an open fixture. For a bulb meant to light a porch or backyard, though, the shape is practical, and it never got in the way or bothered me during testing.

Check compatibility before you buy

I ran into no compatibility issues, but the bulb doesn't work with wall dimmer switches, which can cause it to flicker or buzz. It needs a standard on/off switch, with brightness handled in the app or by voice.

Warranty

The Linkind T19 comes with a one-year warranty and a 60-day money-back guarantee. Linkind also offers lifetime customer support by email or phone.

Should you buy the Linkind T19 E26 Smart Flame Bulb?

Yes, for those who love outdoor ambiance

With 160 LEDs and more than 120 preset scenes, the T19 can run anything from a soft candlelight glow to a full bonfire.

If you want your porch or backyard to feel cozier without stringing up lights or building a fire, the Linkind T19 E26 (available at Linkind) is an easy upgrade. Setup is painless, the flame effect looks convincing, and the customization goes deep enough to stay interesting after the first night.

Weeks after testing wrapped, the bulb is still in my future in-laws' backyard, and friends have ordered their own. Just confirm your fixture runs on a standard on/off switch and your Wi-Fi has a 2.4GHz band. At $59.99 for two bulbs, the T19 makes it easy to add atmosphere to your evenings outside.
