Sharp announced a host of new home audio products today at the International CES, including a high-fidelity audio player, a new sound bar, and Bluetooth speakers.

Chief among the product announcements is the Sharp Universal Player (model SD-WH1000U), which can transmit 24-bit audio at a sampling rate of 96kHz, and video at 1080p. The Universal Player features three HDMI ports, 2 USB slots, and internet connectivity. It will be able to play CDs, Super Audio CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs. This particular player has been named a 2014 International CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards Honoree in the High Performance Home Audio category. The Sharp Universal Player will work in conjunction with the company's new WiSA-Compliant Wireless Bridge (model VR-WR100U).

Sharp's new sound bar is the HT-SB602, which is designed to work with 60-inch and larger TVs. This 310-watt, 2.1-channel sound bar features a wireless subwoofer, Bluetooth functionality, two HDMI inputs, an optical input, 3D sound support, and Dolby and DTS decoding.

Sharp also showed off three new Bluetooth speaker systems. The first is the GX-BT7 all-in-one system, which has 2.1-channel Bluetooth speakers with NFC support, as well as dual subwoofer speakers that slide open when turned on. The GX-BT7 will work with devices via USB or an audio input.

The DK-KP85P speaker system is a compact solution marketed towards offices and small rooms. It utilizes a Lightning Dock, a USB input, a CD player, a 3.5mm audio input, and a radio tuner. It also has an iPad stand.

Finally, the XL-HF202P speaker system will have all of the same features as the previous DK-KP85P model, but also include speaker binding posts, video output, and a subwoofer output.

Consumers can expect all of Sharp's home audio products this spring. The Wireless Bridge will retail for $599.99, the HT-SB602 sound bar for $499.99, the GX-BT7 for $199.99, the DK-KP85P for $199.99, and the XL-HF202P for $249.99. The Universal Player does not have a firm price yet.
