Your pile of nachos is mountainous. Your beverage is closer to a quart than a pint. Your commitment to the team is best described as “massive.” This football season, why not pick out a TV whose screen size reflects your passion for the game? For folks who entertain a crowd on game day, ample screen real estate is as essential as a stocked fridge.

Here at Reviewed, we diligently test and review dozens of TVs every year, and none of them excite us more than those big, honkin’ screens. Here are five of the best big-screen options we’ve tested—from budget-friendly options to world-class performers.

1. Vizio V-Series

If all you’re after is a big, room-dominating TV that doesn’t break the bank, the Vizio V-Series is a terrific option. There are seven total sizes in the series, including 65-, 70-, and 75-inch variants.

The V-Series isn’t the best TV on the block, but it’s one of the most affordable ways to lock down one with a big screen. It’s a 4K smart TV with a decent selection of features (including several of the most popular streaming apps pre-installed). If you’re upgrading to 4K for the first time, you’ll love the way sports look at a higher resolution.

That said, if you’re looking for a TV that offers dazzling picture quality and a better set of features, you’ll probably want to spend a bit more money on something further down this list. The V-Series is a great game day option for price-conscious sports fans, but picture purists will be better off spending up.

Looking for an affordable TV that punches above its weight? The TCL 5-Series with Google TV delivers some serious bang for your buck. It’s available in four sizes, the biggest of which are 65 and 75 inches.

For a budget-friendly price, the 5-Series offers 4K resolution, quantum-dot color, HDR support, and a flexible, easy-to-use smart platform built right in. If you’re looking for a bargain without scraping the bottom of the barrel, the TCL 5-Series is worth the minor price hike over the cheapest options. It's especially great for folks who are upgrading to their first 4K TV.

3. Samsung Q60B

The Samsung Q60B isn’t as affordable as the previous two TVs on this list, but it offers a brighter, more-colorful picture than those picks, and it still manages to come in at a reasonable price. It’s available in eight total sizes (including 65, 70, 75, and 85 inches), the largest of which is currently on sale for less than $2,000.

This is a brand-new, 4K smart TV with a seriously sleek design. Its brighter-than-average picture (bolstered by quantum dots) will stand up to sunshine during day games, and its excellent overall contrast ensures that nighttime viewing is a feast for the eyes, too.

4. Sony X95K

If you’re worried about sunbeams crashing your Sunday afternoon tradition, consider the Sony X95K, a mini-LED TV that packs a punch bright enough to stand up to sunlight. All of the size options in this series are big: 65, 75, and 85 inches.

In addition to being one of the brightest TVs we’ve tested this year, the X95K has Sony’s Triluminos Color technology (its version of quantum dots) for rich, voluminous color, especially during HDR content. Its easy-to-use, built-in smart platform (powered by Google TV) ensures that the fun doesn’t stop once the game clock runs out.

Its price is certainly on the higher end of the spectrum, but the X95K makes up for it by being a great TV for movie night or casual daytime viewing. There are also a handful of next-gen gaming features here, like ALLM and VRR. It’s a fantastic option for game day and beyond.

5. LG C2

If only the best will do, consider our pick for the overall best TV you can buy: the LG C2 OLED TV. Its size options include 65-, 77-, and 83-inch models.

Unlike traditional LED TVs, OLED displays are capable of adjusting their brightness on a pixel-by-pixel basis. This allows for perfect black levels, which is why OLED TVs feature unparalleled contrast. The C2 also delivers rich, eye-popping color and phenomenal motion handling.

We only recommend splashing out on the C2 if you’re in the market for an all-around top-shelf experience, as its myriad bells and whistles extend to several different use cases. It’s not just a great option for sports, it’s a great option for everything—from movies to next-gen gaming. If your TV is positively drenched in sunlight, though, you might want to explore brighter LED TVs in this price bracket, like the aforementioned Sony X95K or the Samsung QN90B.

The LG C2 is a serious investment, but one that’ll pay off on every day of the week—not just any given Sunday.
