According to the folks at the Salt Rox booth, cooking on salt is both novel and delicious. And after a demonstration, we were inclined to agree. That reusable slab of thick pink salt, heated over a flame or stovetop, can cook everything from steaks to cookies. We think it would be ideal for seafood and veggies, too. Supposedly, with enough oil, you can keep the salt from sticking to your food in excess, but you’ll likely have a hard time convincing your cardiologist.
