The Kenmore 72023 is a stainless steel French door fridge that holds its own with some of the best models we've tested to date. Similar to the LG LFX31925ST and made by the same manufacturer, this Kenmore is pricier than a lot of our tested appliances, but we quickly found justification for that financial blow within our test results. It has enough storage space to satisfy the whole family during the holidays, energy savings that may make the initial hit to the wallet more bearable, and a refrigeration quality that the manufacturer can be proud of. If you've got the money and are looking to upgrade from an entry or mid-priced fridge, the Kenmore 72023 (MSRP $2349.99) is a great model to consider.

If you're looking for a French door fridge in the $1400 range and don't mind a small freezer, the Maytag MFF2558VEM is a good choice with consistent temperature performance and an energy efficient design.

A well priced refrigerator with a decent sized fridge and freezer section. But we found that the frozen food melted somewhat quicker than most, and the temperature of the freezer was not constant.

This bottom freezer device has plenty of space for both frozen and refrigerated food, and a number of features that make it more flexible than most.

Fridge connoisseurs, take note! The Samsung RFG297HDRS is a high-end model with a classy, modern design and a very smooth experience. Take care, though; this machine isn't perfect, and a high running cost and higher price tag mean this is an investment you'll want to carefully consider.
