According to the company, it's one of the smallest 10,000mAh power banks on the planet. But this wired charger isn't just small in form factor; it's also priced under $30, plus it comes with a three-year warranty.
How we tested
After removing the INIU Pocket Rocket P50 from its minimalist packaging, a quick press of the side button revealed that 83% of the battery was already charged. We used the 6.7-inch detachable cable to plug it into a laptop and reach 100% within a couple of minutes.
The first test was to power up a Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra at 25% battery remaining, plugged into one of the two USB-C slots on the power bank. Within 43 minutes, the phone was at 100%, and the power bank still had 54% left. That's a strong result—the Galaxy S26 Ultra has a 5,000mAh lithium-ion battery.
Similarly, the INIU Pocket Rocket P50 charged a base-model iPhone 17 from 3% in just under an hour. (The iPhone 17 has a 3,692mAh battery.)
We also carried the power bank around, mostly in jeans, to see if the size and weight would be an issue. We've tested thinner and lighter power banks, but none with a 10,000mAh battery (and the connected cable is a bonus).
What we like
Its size and capacity
At just 1.44 ounces, the INIU Pocket Rocket P50 delivers full 10,000mAh capacity without the usual bulk.
The number-one reason to buy this is if you don't want to lug around a big, heavy power bank. At 1.44 ounces (about 40 grams), the INIU Pocket Rocket P50 won't weigh you down.
It's built for those on the go who want the peace of mind that comes from knowing they can fully recharge their tech—a phone, earbuds, tablet, or other devices—without needing an AC wall outlet.
Three ports and fast charging
With up to 45 watts of power, the INIU Pocket Rocket P50's output enables fast charging. Not all 10,000mAh batteries can juice up your gear in the same amount of time, but this power bank was quick.
The power bank also stayed cool when charging connected devices. We used the detachable lanyard cable for most of the testing, along with an official Apple cable and a threaded Anker USB-C cable, to see if there was any difference in speed. There wasn't.
For its small size, it's also useful that this power bank has three output ports (one of which is labeled USB-C and doubles as a charging port for the battery itself). The USB-A port was slower when connected to a pair of over-ear headphones we were charging, but it still got the job done.
Extras are a thoughtful touch
The included USB-C cable, built-in display, and color options add useful flexibility without overcomplicating the design.
The INIU Pocket Rocket P50's included cable is smartly detachable, meaning you can use it to charge a device like your phone, or to charge the internal battery when plugged into a laptop or other USB-C device.
This power bank includes a digital display that shows how much power is left on the battery (shown as a percentage). While we were sent the classic black model to review, it also comes in five other colors.
What we don't like
There is no wireless support
The INIU Pocket Rocket P50 conveniently includes a detachable charging cable, but even better would be to slap this on the back of a compatible smartphone for wireless charging—like a MagSafe-enabled iPhone, Pixelsnap for Pixel phones, or Qi2 for Samsung and others. The only thing better than a portable charger with an included cable is not needing the cable at all.
Thankfully, the same company offers such a device, aptly named the INIU Magnetic Power Bank (also known as the INIU SnapGo Air Power), which we've also tested.
Slow charging of the power bank itself
While the 45-watt charger speedily charges up whatever mobile tech it's connected to, the power bank itself took more than 2.5 hours to fully charge. We used a couple of different plugs to charge the battery, including an ASUS Zenbook laptop charger, which proved the fastest at just over two hours.
As you might imagine, the more devices you have connected to the power bank, the slower it charges everything plugged into it.
Warranty
One of the best in the industry, INIU offers a three-year warranty and a promise to respond to inquiries within 24 business hours. INIU says it also provides liability insurance for all purchased items.
Should you buy the INIU Pocket Rocket P50?
Yes, its lightweight, inexpensive, and charges quickly and powerfully
The INIU Pocket Rocket 50 portable charger skips the flashy extras, but nails the essentials so well—45W charging, compact size, and solid capacity
If you don't need wireless charging, the INIU Pocket Rocket P50 (available at Amazon for $29.95) is a strong buy. It's a small, lightweight 10,000mAh battery with 45-watt fast charging, a detachable cable, and three charging ports.
The price is solid at under $30, and if you need more power and don't mind the extra bulk, INIU also has a similar 20,000mAh solution at about the same price ($32).
