How we tested
INIU sent the SnapGo Air Power Bank for review, which arrived in a minimalist, teal-colored box containing the power bank and a small booklet.
Out of the box, the battery arrived charged to more than 80%, which is convenient for those who don't want to wait to test it out.
Like the INIU Pocket Rocket P50, which we recently took for a test-drive—a removable 6.7-inch USB-C cable is included and attached to the power bank like a looped lanyard. We used this cable to charge the SnapGo Air to 100% while plugged into one of my laptop ports.
With both an iOS and Android device—an iPhone 17 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, to be precise—we put the INIU SnapGo Air Power Bank through its paces.
The slim battery, magnetically affixed to the back of the iPhone 17 Pro Max, charged it from 0% to 50% in about 70 minutes (and more than two hours for a full 100% charge). I didn't use the phone during this time, but I also didn't turn off any app updates that may have been running in the background.
In separate testing, I charged the same phone from 70% to a full 100% in 88 minutes. If this feels too slow for you, know that it can charge to about 70% in 40 minutes on an iPhone 17 Pro Max with the 45W wired charging option.
On a Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, wireless charging took longer than on an iPhone because it doesn't support 25W speeds. INIU doesn't specify whether it's 15W or slower, but in our testing, with 57% battery remaining, I placed the Samsung phone on top of the power bank, and it took exactly 90 minutes to reach 100%.
The power bank got quite warm after charging the Galaxy S26 Ultra (but was cooler to the touch when connected to the iPhone 17 Pro Max).
What we like
Its compact, slim structure
At just half an inch thick, the SnapGo Air keeps magnetic charging portable instead of cumbersome.
At just 0.5 inches thin, the INIU SnapGo Air is one of the smallest and lightest power banks with a 10,000mAh battery.
We've seen 5,000mAh solutions that are slightly thinner (0.45 inches), but this INIU battery could give a base-model iPhone 17 two full charges.
When connected to the back of a beefier iPhone 17 Pro Max, it stayed securely in place and didn't make the phone too difficult to slip into the back pocket of your jeans when not in use or to hold while talking or texting. It could even fit in a small clutch purse, as it didn't add much bulk to the device.
Faster charging
While we've seen wireless power banks before, the jump to 25W charging via Qi 2.2 certification is an impressive speed upgrade.
For iOS devices that support it, it now takes less time to juice up (or simply top off) your phone compared to popular power banks from just a year or two ago, like the 7.5W Anker 621 MagGo Magnetic Portable Charger or the 15W Belkin MagSafe Power Bank 5,000mAh, Ultra-Slim Qi2 15W Magnetic Power Bank.
Detachable cable
While wireless charging is more convenient, for faster charging, you can simply use a cable. Just like the INIU Pocket Rocket P50, this wireless charger includes a connected but removable 6.7-inch USB-C cable that's secured to the power bank like a small, looped lanyard. It's not big enough to wear around your wrist, mind you, but you can carry the charger with it, if you like, or attach it to a keychain. Having the USB-C cable with the product at all times means you won't forget it at home, on an airplane, or in a hotel room.
It's also handy for non-wireless phones and devices, like a pair of rechargeable over-the-ear headphones, or when you need a faster 45W charge instead of the slower 25W wireless option.
What we don't like
Best on some iPhones only
The INIU SnapGo Air Power Bank supports Qi2 25W wireless charging, but that's only supported on iPhone 16 Plus/Pro Max and iPhone 17 Series. This was evident in the much faster charging speeds on the iPhone 17 Pro Max compared to the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
According to INIU, iPhone 12 to 15 Series phones will max out at 15W wireless charging (with iOS 17.4 or later). Samsung, Pixel, and other Android phones also do not officially support 25W charging, according to INIU, but will still work at slower speeds.
The SnapGo Air secured strongly to the iPhone (via MagSafe) but not to the Samsung device. You can lay your Samsung phone on top of the power bank, and it'll sort of lock into place, but it'll slide off if picked up.
No USB-A slot
Two USB-C ports are useful, but the lack of USB-A may be inconvenient for older charging cables and accessories.
This compact wireless power bank has two USB-C slots—one of which also charges the battery itself—but it would be ideal if it also had a legacy USB-A port.
That way, you could charge virtually any portable accessory with a USB-A plug on the go—not just those with USB-C.
Some may not think it's important, but many gadgets still ship with USB-A plugs on one end (such as my Apple Watch charger), so you don't want to have to carry a separate power bank for that—like the INIU Pocket Rocket P50.
Warranty
One of (if not) the best in the industry, INIU offers a 3-year warranty, lifetime technical support, and a promise to respond to inquiries within 24 business hours. INIU says it also provides liability insurance for all purchased items.
Should you buy the INIU SnapGo Air Power Bank?
Yes, especially if you use an iPhone 17
Fast wireless charging, a compact design, and useful wired options make this an easy everyday carry pick.
The INIU SnapGo Air 10,000mAh Qi2 Power Bank (available at Amazon for $49.99) is a solid pick for its slim profile, large 10,000mAh capacity, and fast-ish wireless charging speeds, especially if you use an iPhone 17, which supports 25W charging.
It also includes two wired USB-C ports for up to 45W charging, and the detachable USB-C cable is super convenient to have on the power bank itself. A small digital display on the edge of the 0.5-inch power bank shows you the precise battery level and charging status.
Even if you're not on an iPhone, this teeny power bank is an excellent accessory to carry and use in a pinch.
