The Electrolux EIDW5905JS is a high-capacity, elegantly designed dishwasher that requires a lot of water for a passable clean.

A nifty design and cool interface can't make up for a hefty price and weak performance.

For close to a grand, we were hoping for something a bit better than adequate.

For a portable, high-capacity dishwasher the Maytag MDC4809PAB is a decent machine, but for the hefty price we can't justify buying it.
