Fourth of July 2019: The best things to buy from Home Depot's massive sale

The Fourth of July, like pretty much every patriotic holiday we celebrate throughout the year, is a fantastic time to get a good deal on just about anything, especially large appliances, and The Home Depot is easily one of the best places to get exactly what you're looking for and save some serious dollars in the process. This year they've finally done away with rebates, which are a pain to submit, take forever to go through, and just aren't very satisfying.

But that's not all Home Depot is offering shoppers this Independence Day. They've also got deals and discounts of tools, small appliances, furniture, and more. Yeah, Home Depot sells furniture and all sorts of other things you maybe wouldn't expect to see at Big Orange.

Their site is not always the easiest to navigate, especially if you just want to browse or you're not sure which fridge or washer/dryer set you want. So to help you start your search, we compiled all the best discounts on all the best products you can find at Home Depot now through July 10.

Appliances

Refrigerators

Haier 4-Door French Door Refrigerator in Stainless Steel—$898 (Save $360): We love this fridge because it's smaller than typical French door fridges. So if you've always wanted this style but don't have a lot of room and don't want to tear up your counters, this is the model for you.

LG LFXS30796D French InstaView Door-in-Door Smart WiFi Enabled Refrigerator—$2,798 (Save $980): This award-winning fridge has a super cool feature: door-in-door storage you can see from the outside! Yep. You can tap on the glass to get a peek without letting all the cold air out. Excessive? Maybe. Do I want one? Definitely.

LG LSXS26366S Door-in-Door Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water—$1,398 (Save $220): Another award-winner, this LG fridge impressed our testers because it has three separate doors and door-in-door storage. There's even a button so you can open the first door without opening the whole fridge, thus preserving the chilled temps inside.

Samsung RF260BEAESR French Door Refrigerator with Filter Ice Maker in Stainless Steel—$1,098 (Save $500): We gave this Samsung fridge a Best of Year award because it offers the quality you'd expect to see in a much higher price bracket. Its food preservation abilities impressed our testers, and it has a customizable drawer so you can store veggies, meat, or even just cans perfectly.

Ovens

Electrolux IQ Touch Electric Range—$2,204 (Save $245) This is the only oven we've tested and loved that is on sale for a good price. It scored a 9.6 out of 10, but our reviewer said it was too pricey and to only buy it on sale. Good news for you, then!

There may be other ovens that we haven't tested but are available for decent discounts. We recommend comparison shopping at other retailers, especially Best Buy and Appliances Connection, to make sure the listed sale price is actually legitimate.

Laundry

Electrolux EFLS527UTT Front-Load Washer with LuxCare and Steam—$948 (Save $151): This washer earned our Editors' Choice award because it excelled across the board. It handled delicates with gentle ease but wasn't afraid to get its proverbial hands dirty getting things clean on a heavy cycle. It even has shorter-than-average cycle times!

The matching dryer, which is also one of our top picks, is on sale for the same price so you can replace your whole set.

LG WM3500CW Ultra Capacity White Front-Load Washer with Steam and WiFi—$698 (Save $301): We love LG washers because of how customizable they are, and the Editors' Choice winner is no different in that regard. However, it also has WiFi so you can ask your Google Assistant to start a load for you (assuming you remembered to fill the washer up and add soap).

The matching dryer, which is also one of our top picks, is on sale for the same price so you can replace your whole set.

Dishwashers

Kitchenaid KDTM354DSS Top Control Tall-Tub Dishwasher in Stainless Steel—$698 (Save $335): We gave this dishwasher a Best of Year award in 2018 because it's got this amazing feature called "Clean Water Wash" that actively works to remove loosed food particles from the water so your dishes aren't being cleaned with gross water.

LG LDF5545ST Front Control Tall-Tub Dishwasher in Stainless Steel—$498 (Save $130): While this dishwasher didn't win any of our awards, we still have good things to say about it. Specifically, our testers found the adjustability of the racks to be a huge benefit. Its heavy cycle also really wowed them, but the catch is that it does take longer than normal (about three hours). They recommend just running it overnight if you need to run a heavy cycle.
