Noticing a trend? Pizza, that ancient and universally beloved dish of dough, sauce, and cheese, is the spark that drives the engine of technological progress. Pizza is love. Pizza is life.
That's why engineer Brody Berson recently repurposed an Amazon Dash to order pizza at the push of a button.
The Dash is a brand-specific, WiFi-enabled button that lets you buy groceries without using a computer or ever talking to another human being. Just push the button and the goods will soon arrive on your doorstep. The only downside? You need a different button for every item on your shopping list.
Berson looked at this tech and came to a brilliant realization: He could reprogram the button to order pizza through Domino's, Pizza Hut, or any other app-enabled restaurant.

Just like that, Berson had an on-demand pizza delivery button. Yep, we've truly reached peak lazy.
But this is just the beginning. As The Verge points out, it's probably not long before we'll merely have to mumble the word "pizza" into an Amazon Echo or smartphone to get our favorite pie delivered to our doorstep by drone.
Who needs human interaction, anyway?
