Moving right along, we’ve named the Uppababy Cruz V2 as best stroller because it hits every mark for what you need from one: It has a durable build quality that should withstand heavy-duty use, it provides one of the smoothest rides of any stroller we’ve tested, and it proved itself comfortable for both infants and older children. The Cruz V2’s large wheels absorb bumps well but allow the stroller to keep a slim profile when folded. It also feels stable and wide while pushing but still easily fits through doorways. If you have more than one stroller-needing child at a time, Zoe’s The Twin+ Luxe double stroller is the best, and we love that it avoids many of the common issues we have seen while testing them. At just 19 pounds, it’s exceptionally lightweight, and also compact enough to fit into an airplane’s overhead compartment. However, it still features plenty of storage in the under basket, cup holders for parents and kids, adjustable footrests, and a canopy that extends. Out of the box, only the wheels need to be attached, making setup easy. It boasts the sleek, modern look of a much more expensive luxury stroller and can hold 45 pounds per seat. Best of all? Parents who pound the pavement will appreciate B.O.B. Gear’s Alterrain Pro, our favorite jogging stroller and a dream to use across the bumpiest roads and the sandiest beaches. It features a mountain bike-style suspension and air-filled tires to provide your little one with an ultra-smooth ride, whether on sidewalks or hiking trails. The low-resistance push design and 360-degree swiveling front wheel means it glides easily and turns on a dime. The Alterrain Pro doesn’t lack in thoughtful features, from its six storage pockets and extra-large cargo basket to the peek-and-chat window and canopy made from water-resistant canvas sport fabric. With an eye to the environment, we’ve named a best cloth diaper for the first time ever, and we are happy to award it to Thirsties All in One. During our testing, it outperformed all other cloth diapers throughout poop and pee tests (both simulated and on a real baby). We absolutely appreciate the longevity aspirations of Skip Hop’s Sit-to-Step high chair. It is thoughtfully designed and, and it transforms from an infant chair to a step stool, meaning it can take you seamlessly from baby to big kid stages. The Sit-to-Step itself weighs in at 28 pounds, making it sturdy enough to hold kids as young as 3 months all the way up to 33 pounds. A five-point harness and machine-washable infant insert make sure everyone is comfortable and secure in the chair. The adjustable height and three reclined positions make it easier to scoot everyone up to the table. In its inaugural year on our list, the Nanit Pro is one of the best smart baby monitors on the market. It displays high-resolution views of the baby’s crib from a smartphone or tablet and even offers a split-screen option to view multiple children simultaneously. The Nanit companion app provides temperature and humidity readings for the room where the monitor is situated, and the unit also contains a night light. However, its best and possibly biggest feature is the breath monitoring that the Nanit system offers courtesy of a breathing band accessory.
