Still working remotely these days? You're not alone. Many businesses have turned full-time remote or haven't scheduled a date to return to the office yet, which means those sweet, sweet monitors, extra laptops, and even fancy standing desks at your work might be missed for awhile longer. Whether you're still using your iPad as a second monitor or referring to your kitchen table as your "work station," it might finally be time to step it up a bit.
Thankfully, if you want your home office set up with everything you need to conduct business, HP has you covered. We've tested many of HP's flagship products, from their different laptops to their computer mice, and have rounded up some of the tech giant's very best home-office products to help you upgrade your at-home work space.
The best computers at HP
1. Our favorite Chromebook perfect for G-suite lovers
If you can get your work done in Google’s G Suite—Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Hangouts, Sheets, and Slides—then a high-quality Chromebook with Chrome OS could be the ideal investment. You’ll find that a lot of Chromebooks are comfortable to use and affordable, but HP's Chromebook x360 is a top choice for both versatility and working from the couch. The HP Chromebook x360 is one of our favorite laptops under $200. Whether you’re a remote worker in need of a backup laptop or a student looking for something to get by with while taking online classes, this is an incredible value. As long as you don’t need a lot of extra storage, this is the budget laptop you’re looking for.
2. This powerful computer built for multi-tasking
If you’re in the market for an affordable yet powerful machine, look no further than the HP Envy x360. It boasts a Ryzen 5 (4500U) six-core processor, a long-lasting 8-plus hour battery life, a stunning display, and is constructed with a 2-in-1 hinge that lets you transform it from a traditional 13-inch laptop to a tablet or easel. This budget-friendly laptop is a top favorite of ours for students, working professionals, and everyone in between. Get the HP Envy x360 15t Laptop for $789.99
3. A fast and powerful laptop for the tech lover
If money is no object—or your priorities include things like video editing and media streaming—the HP Spectre x360 is a 15-inch Windows 10 powerhouse with an NVIDIA GeForce GPU. This is one for the YouTubers, streamers, filmmakers, and artists in need of a machine that’s as reliable as it is portable. The HP Spectre series produces powerful, fast, and high-quality laptops that our executive editor swears by. The 10th-generation Intel processor bolster laptop speeds, making it perfect for home office work. Get the HP Spectre x360 for $1,499.99

4. This mouse that's both gorgeous and functional
We named the HP x4000 the best affordable wireless mouse. The mouse’s internal AAs boast a two-and-a-half-year battery life; it also features a scroll wheel between the two buttons. Our testers found that it works well on most in-home surfaces, but not glass tabletops. It’ll set you back between $20 and $30, but we found that it's well worth the price for its value. Get the HP x4000 Wireless Mouse with Laser Sensor for $31.99
5. Amazing monitors you can get on a budget
Need an extra monitor for a bigger display or more virtual workspace? HP sells all kinds of monitors, from gaming monitors to inexpensive ones you can set up at your kitchen table. HP makes two of our favorite monitors under $200, though right now, both are out of stock.
For a comparable monitor to one of our favorites, check out the HP Pavillion 32 QHD 32-inch Monitor, which is a larger version of the one we reviewed. Reviewers give it a near-perfect rating on the HP site, noting that it's quite large and has a sharp image perfect for picture-based work. Note that this one is pricy—nearly $400—so if you're looking for cheaper options, check out the smaller HP 24yh 23.8-inch Monitor, or the mid-sized HP 27f 27-inch display.
6. An affordable printer that can help you print what you need
Our executive editor TJ just wrote about how he needed to buy a printer since moving to full-time work from home. He opted for the HP OfficeJet 3830 for its price and usability. The OfficeJet is perfect for any recreational printing, whether you're printing a document for a client or coloring pages for your children. Alternatively, our smart home editor Sarah Kovac enjoyed her experience with the HP Tango X printer, which is an Alexa-enabled printer that's part toy, part office product. She described it as "incredibly smart," noting that it connected to the WiFi and printed from computers, phones, and even tablets. This is a great choice if you're working from home with kids and need a product that will keep them entertained as you work.
7. One of the best pairs of noise canceling headphones
Bose makes one of our favorite pairs of noise canceling headphones. Our editor Kate Ellsworth swears by her Bose Quiet Comfort headphones, saying she wouldn't make it through the workday without them (especially now that she's sharing her office with her husband and two cats, all of whom make noise when they need attention). These headphones have thousands of positive reviews from people across a variety of retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. In our testing, we found that the Bose did an incredible job at filtering out background noise and were comfortable to wear for several hours during the day.
