It's officially spring, which means one thing: People will lock themselves indoors in order to watch college basketball games. Besides the Super Bowl, there isn't a better time of the year to purchase a new TV for yourself.

If you are in the market for a television, there are a lot of different brands and types to choose from. In order to help you with that process, we have searched the Internet looking for the hottest deals on brands like Samsung and LG. Here are just a few that we found.

Samsung UN55ES8000

This was Samsung’s flagship LED TV last year, and it’s easy to see why. The TV comes with a ton of features including Internet apps, 3D, and voice and motion controls. However, we had a problem with the price, which came in at $3,749 MSRP. How many people would be willing to spend that much money on a television? Well, Rakuten has a great deal where you can currently buy it for $1,599: a price that makes it much more affordable for the mid-range consumer.

LG55LM6200

This mid-range addition to LG's line of solid LED televisions won a Best of the Year award in 2012, as it included many features reminiscent of flagship TVs such as 3D, internet connectivity, and LG’s Magic Remote. Now, you can get the 55-inch model at TigerDirect for $800 off the MSRP. Other LG TVs are also on sale until March 16.

LG 55LS4500

LG televisions often include TruMotion, which works to make pictures look less blurry. However, this could have the opposite effect of making images look unnaturally smooth. Regardless of motion problems, this television—which is on sale through Best Buy for $699 with free shipping—is an example of a great deal on a 55-inch flatscreen LED TV. Remember, you need the code J0LZWD4X551T1R to get the deal, so make sure to apply it.

Samsung UN55EH6000

This Samsung LED TV is a bit outdated in terms of its available technology, namely its lack of WiFi and smart television features, but its high definition images and ConnectShare hookup allow consumers to get a great picture from a number of devices. Normally priced at $1,549, the UN55EH6000 is now on sale for $897 at ABT. Customers still have to pay for shipping.

Sharp LC-60E69U

You could do better than the LC-60E69U if you are looking for a 60-inch flat screen LCD TV, but this Sharp model is now available at very low price at the Dell Store. So if you are looking for a large TV that won’t break the bank, this is one place to look. Originally priced at $998, customers can now purchase this TV for $698.
