Mopping is one of those chores that never feels like it's actually working. You push dirty water around, wait for the floor to dry, and somehow it still looks the same. Roborock's F25 series promises to fix that: one machine that vacuums, mops, and cleans itself. But with models ranging from $199.99 to $499.99 and higher, the real question isn't whether the F25 is worth it. It's which one is.
About the Roborock F25 series
The F25 series is Roborock's latest line of upright wet-dry vacuums—and it's not our first time putting the company's floor cleaners to the test.
This time around, we tested three cordless vacuum models across the lineup: the F25 GT, the F25 ACE Pro, and the F25 Ultra. All three vacuum and mop in a single pass, self-clean, and share a 4.92-inch flat profile that slides under furniture. What separates them is how deep the cleaning goes and how much you'll pay for it.
At a glance
The F25 GT
The GT is the entry-level model in the F25 lineup. It vacuums and mops in a single pass, self-cleans after, and gets the job done without the push-pull effort of a traditional mop or Swiffer.
A cordless wet-dry vacuum that does the scrubbing for you—no elbow grease required.
The F25 ACE Pro
The ACE sits in the middle of the lineup and adds app control, automatic detergent dispensing, and dirt detection. It bumps battery life up to 60 minutes and is designed for everyday home cleaning.
A powerful everyday floor cleaner with smart dirt detection, app control, and 60 minutes of battery life.
The F25 Ultra
The Ultra is the flagship model. It builds on the F25 ACE Pro with steam and hot-water cleaning, a more powerful 22,000 Pa motor, a larger water tank, and a visible dirt-detection light.
Roborock's flagship wet-dry vacuum with steam, hot water cleaning, and the deepest clean in the lineup.
Cleaning performance
Day-to-day, the ACE and Ultra perform similarly. Both handle everyday dirt, spills, and sticky messes without much effort. The GT keeps pace on lightly soiled floors but lacks the detergent dispensing and dirt detection that give the upper two models an edge when things get messier.
The biggest differentiator is the Ultra's hot water and steam mop modes. Used in combination, they produce a deeper clean than anything the GT or ACE can replicate—the kind that lifts residue a regular mop pass wouldn't touch.
Winner: F25 Ultra
Edge cleaning
The F25 Ultra gets impressively close to walls, but don't expect it to catch every last crumb in the corners.
All three models get close to walls—closer than most traditional mops. The Ultra's dual-edge design gives it a slight advantage along baseboards, with side margins under 1 mm. That said, none of them are perfect: expect some spots under low-clearance cabinets that none of these machines will reach.
Winner: F25 Ultra
Self-cleaning & drying
All three models self-clean after each session, flushing the roller brush with clean water and drying it to prevent mildew. Where they differ is in temperature. The GT and ACE both self-clean at 90°C. The Ultra runs its self-clean cycle at 180°C steam, which produces a more thorough, hygienic result.
Winner: F25 Ultra
Maneuverability
All three handle smoothly on hard floors. The ACE and Ultra both feature SlideTech 2.0—dual brushless motors that give each wheel independent control for tighter, more responsive turning. The GT uses a simpler swivel design that still feels natural to push, but it's noticeably less precise in tight spaces. All three share the same 4.92-inch flat profile and 70-degree swivel that lets them glide around furniture legs without much fuss.
Winner: F25 ACE Pro / F25 Ultra (tie)
Battery life
The F25 lineup displays charge and cleaning settings differently across models, from basic indicators to a fully integrated screen on Ultra.
The GT tops out at 40 minutes in Eco mode, which is enough for a smaller space but starts to feel limiting in larger homes. Both the ACE and Ultra get 60 minutes per charge—plenty for most apartments and mid-size homes.
Winner: F25 ACE Pro / F25 Ultra (tie)
And the overall winner of our Roborock F25 GT vs. F25 ACE Pro vs. F25 Ultra challenge is …
The F25 Ultra. Going in, we weren't sure the steam and hot water modes would justify the $100 jump over the ACE. When testing on caked-in stains, the difference in efficiency between the two was modest.
But the dirty water tank settled it. The ACE pulled up a solid amount of dirt and debris. The Ultra made us embarrassed by our floors.
The Ultra also—remarkably—lifted an old paint stain that had been on the floor for years. And while most vacuum shoppers aren't looking for a paint remover, the dirty water tank doesn't lie: the heated cleaning features were clearly doing something the ACE couldn't.
Buy the F25 GT if … you're a budget shopper or live in a small space
You want a powered mop upgrade that does the scrubbing for you, you're cleaning a smaller space, or you're on a tighter budget. It outperforms a Swiffer; just note that you're paying a premium for the convenience.

Buy the F25 ACE Pro if … you're the average home owner and don't need to steam clean often
Your floors need a real cleaning on a regular basis, and steam isn't a priority. It's the sweet spot of the lineup for most homeowners.
A powerful everyday floor cleaner with smart dirt detection, app control, and 60 minutes of battery life.
Buy the F25 Ultra if … you've got kids and/or pets
You want the deepest clean the F25 series can deliver and don't mind paying for it. It's especially worth it for households with kids, pets, or floors that are overdue for a proper scrub-down.
