Panasonic finally released more details about the company's first Micro Four Thirds camcorder, the AG-AF100, which was briefly announced back in April of this year. The American release date for the AG-AF100 remains unclear, but the camcorder should launch in Japan in December. The model is expected to retail in the US for around $6000. You can read our previous article about the AG-AF100 announcement here.

Some of the new features on the AG-AF100 that were previously unannounced include a variable frame rate record function (in Full HD), three internal ND filters, and an HD-SDI output. Panasonic also listed the dimensions of the AG-AF100 as 163 x 209 x 195mm and its weight as 1.2kg (body only).

All Micro Four Thirds lenses should be usable with the camcorder, but Panasonic also touts an adapter mount that will allow for 35mm lenses to be compatible with the AG-AF100 as well. Read more details about the AG-AF100 in our article covering the announcement of the camcorder here.
