For all the high scores that completely dry clothes earned for this machine, the Kenmore 89032 simply isn't as good as other similarly priced models available today. With cycles that get too hot for too long, this dryer not only isn't the cheapest on the market, it'll also cost you more in the long run due to the increased rate at which you'll likely have to replace your clothes. The minimal amount of preset cycles and almost complete lack of extra drying features means there isn't even any technical achievement that can make up for over heated drying.

These days, decent drying isn't quite good enough. The {{product.name}} is actually a good dryer, but it couldn't get to the level of performance that the best dryers manage to offer. While most cycles got clothes nearly all the way dry, it only reached the 100 percent mark when temperatures got higher than we like to see. There isn't much by way of extra features to make up for that lack of truly effective drying, either. It's unfortunate, really - this {{product.brand.name}} did well, just not well enough to make it worth purchasing at full price. If you can find it one sale - perhaps by a few hundred dollars below its $849 MSRP - it could be a great machine for those getting there first or second dryer. Shopping around, though, you may find other appliances for the same price that do a better job, take better care of your clothes, and give you more features to play around with.

This LG is a decent dryer, but at $799, performance isn't actually the big pull here.
