Julia is the Senior Scientist at Reviewed, which means that she oversees (and continually updates) the testing of products in Reviewed's core categories such as televisions, washing machines, refrigerators, etc. She also determines the testing methods and standards for Reviewed's "The Best Right Now" articles.
When she's not outlining testing procedures, chances are that Julia is doing some of the testing herself. Some of her recent articles include "The Best Right Now" articles specific to fire extinguishers, lunch coolers, smart thermostats, and wireless headphones. The article she is most proud of is the aforementioned smart thermostat article, since she managed to test smart thermostats without breaking Reviewed's extensive (and expensive) air conditioning/heating system.
Julia received her PhD in Geological Sciences from Brown University in 2014, and is currently working on her MBA.
